Magna supports the World Vision Global 6k for Water by raising money to help fund clean water projects across the world.

According to World Vision, 6 km is the average distance women and children walk for water in the developing world - water that is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases. When you walk or run the Global 6K, every $50 that you fundraise will provide life-changing clean water to one new person in need!

The impact of this year's event was significant within the Magna community. This year, in 2024, we had a total of 1,569 participants and raised $157,000!

Magna Wellness hosted a 6 km run/walk in-person at Simeon Park in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and virtually in 2020/2021. We look forward to the event in 2025!
